New asbestos survey guidance HSG264 now refers to Type 1 and Type 2 asbestos surveys as an asbestos management survey. Type 3 surveys are now refer to as asbestos refurbishment or asbestos demolition surveys. Despite the name change the asbestos survey process remains fundamentally the same.
