Current United Kingdom asbestos regulations are contained in the control of asbestos regulations 2006. Contained within these regulations are a specific duty to manage asbestos in non domestic premises and the shared parts of domestic dwellings.

Regulation 4 duty to manage asbestos is what many of our readers will be familiar with. If you own or manage premises you are required to complete and assessment of these premises and create an asbestos management plan based on your findings.
To ensure complete assessment of premises is completed many companies employ an asbestos survey company such as ours to identify and test asbestos materials.
